Joseph’s Lavash Bread

We’ve found a new favorite item at our local Walmart! Joseph’s Lavash Bread does a great job at satisfying your tortilla craving. Unlike low carb tortillas this lavash bread has some thickness to it along with that dusty floury feel that regular tortillas have. Each rectangle is 8 net carbs, but a serving size is half of one – so 4 carbs. I usually just chop the whole package in half for easy access when we buy them.

We’ve used them to make PB&J (warm it in the microwave for 20 seconds for deliciousness), wraps, and mini pizza calzones. Their taste is fairly neutral, no weird after tastes or strange flavors. These are a new “must purchase” in our house.  Check your local stores’ bread aisle – look for the pita and flat breads section or visit the Joseph’s website to buy direct. Note: As of this writing the store locator on the website is not showing results in our area – even though we have seen them locally!
